Daryl "Manna" Jones, grew up on the East side of Baltimore, but was born on the West side of Baltimore.Growing up the youngest of five kids.Surrounded by so many gangsters.He had no choice to become apart of his environment in order to survive.Going trough the ups and downs seeing relatives pass away in front of his eyes.His father passed away when he was just eight years old.That made him turn to, and read up on other black leaders such as Malcolm X, Dr. Martin Luther King, and more. Growing up music always had a hold on him, it became away of expression.He started writing music at the age of nine.As you can hear, he's pretty good at it."Years later I noticed pain was a reality, and I can express the way I feel"so he got serious in the rap game.Which brings us here today.As a responsible person, and guidance to our generation today.Manna never let the hard times become forgotten.You can hear his stories in his songs. The good,and bad, he tells it all.Manna is inspired by many rap pioneers, that paved the way today such as Big Daddy Kane, Run DMC, LL Cool J, Melle Mel, and more.After writing songs for many local artists.He is currently working on his debut album.
